San Diego (FOX 5/KUSI) – Actor Tom Holland was injured during a stunt while filming a new “Spider-Man” film in the UK. Several sources report.
Several other outlets such as The Sun, Eut Out Ex, and The Rolling Stone, Deadline, Variety and Collider reportedly cracked their heads in a “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” stunt.
Several sites report that the Netherlands is believed to have suffered a concussion from the incident and are expected to take a temporary break from filming.
The 29-year-old actor was reportedly rushed to the hospital by ambulance, where he was later treated and released, Sun reports.
It is unclear whether the incident will affect the timing of the release of the latest Marvel-Sony film, the fourth installment in the MCU’s “Spider-Man” franchise, directed by cinemas (Shang-chi and The Legend of the Lings) on July 31, 2026.
The Sun has reported another person believed to be a stunt woman and was taken to the hospital after the incident.
In August, Sony released a Dutch video on the first day of filming “Back in the Suit.”
The “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” cast includes Zendaya, Jon Bernthal, Michael Mando, Jacob Batalon, Mark Ruffalo, JK Simmons, and more.
