: “October Theatre” as president of the baseball business often describes playoff baseball that descended into the Chavez Valley for Game 2 of the National League Wild Card Series on Wednesday night.
After the resulting drop in the first innings produced a sudden deficit, dramatic adversity quickly and dramatically.
The climactic tension was delayed as the Dodgers bullpen could shatter another eighth trouble and wasting another comfortable lead.
In the middle there was the main performance from (4 hits, 3 doubles, 3 RBI), 2 hits, 2 runs, 1 RBI in another postseason masterclass), and more than anything, 6° clutch innings where I was able to control the game.
Finally, there was even a star turn from Rookie Phenom. He closed the door where he completed the Cincinnati Reds wildcard sweep.
“It was a great test and we didn’t shake,” he said.
“One inn at a time, one pitch at a time,” Betts added. “That’s what I love about this team.”
Certainly, the Dodgers have not only made it to the NL division series, but will also face off at the beginning of Saturday night. But they did so with the kind of performance that could catapult them throughout the rest of the month.

Rams
: I made history in the NFL for two seasons before participating.
In 2021, the Cup won the so-called Triple Crown, and was named NFL Offensive Player of the Year, winning.
Nakua, a junior at Brigham Young at the time, had not monitored Kupp’s statistics.
“Sadly, I don’t remember much,” he said. “I’ve never been a fantasy player so I’ve never caught a buzz.”
The NFL, the four games of this season, are amazed about NACUA.
Almost three-quarters of this season are still being played, but if the Rams keep winning and Nakua continues to produce, the third-year pro can be on such a track.
Lakers
: When asked about how former defensive player of the year and former No. 1 overall picks could lift the roster, the superstar instead provided another offseason additional name first.
“And Jake,” James added immediately during the Lakers Media Day press conference after questions about the center.
The signature has less fanfare than the moves that brought Smart and Ayton to the Lakers, but the 6-foot-7 wing hopes it can influence the quiet connector role behind the league’s biggest stars as well.
“We’ve got a lot of guys that can score on this team. There are a lot of guys on this team who can put the ball in the bucket,” Laravia said Wednesday at Lakers Training Camp. “So I’m here to complement these players, but I just bring energy every day to each side of the ball.”
Manila’s srira
: Once all the papers were signed and the battle was officially carried out, Muhammad Ali knew exactly what to do.
Master Quipster, Battle Promotion Wizard and the world’s most famous and outrageous boxer – the longtime heavyweight champion who trumpeted boxing style told the media on October 1, 1975.
“That’s going to happen,” he yelled, “When we arrive at the gorillas in Manila, we have a kira, a srira and a slira and a slira.”
Everything from 50 years ago, and when he called Gorilla, his fighting opponent, it turned out to be offensive. The abbreviated “The Manila Thriller” got stuck and became the label and headlined to become one of the best boxing matches of all time.
Bob Alm turned 94 in December and he is still strong.
In the 60s he was a Harvard-educated lawyer and eventually worked for Bobby Kennedy’s Department of Justice. Kennedy allocated closed circuit television revenues from the 1962 Floyd Patterson Sony Liston Fight to confiscate. This is because information was leaked to the US government that promoter Leukorn had planned to skirt tax liability by illegally paying Paterson in Sweden.
It’s Roy Cohn, the same lawyer and familiarity for young Donald Trump.
