Longtime Fox News contributor Katie Pavlich is leaving the network to join NewsNation.
Pavlich, a conservative political analyst, will air his show nightly starting early next year at 10 p.m. ET, Nexstar’s cable news channel announced Monday.
Mr. Pavlich, 37, will replace Mr. Pavlich, who held the position from 2021. Banfield will partner with the network to create digital true crime content, including podcasts.
Pavlich has been the news editor for the conservative website Townhall.com for the past 16 years. She has appeared regularly on cable ratings leader Fox News since 2013, appearing as a guest co-host on “The Five” and as a fill-in host on prime-time shows.
Pavlich becomes the latest Fox News alum to join NewsNation. Leland Wittert, a former correspondent for the network, is the host of NewsNation’s 9pm ET. Chris StIREwalt is the network’s political editor.
as an alternative to the three major cable news networks at the time, which were leaning heavily toward prime-time opinion programming. But since Chris Cuomo became the highest-rated host in prime time, the network has shifted toward political discussion.
Pavlich, an Arizona native who grew up as an avid hunter, is a strong supporter of the Second Amendment. She posts many photos on Instagram posing with firearms.
Pavlich is the author of several books, including the New York Times bestsellers “Fast and Furious: Barack Obama’s Bloodiest Scandal” and “Assault and Pandering: The Truth About the Left and its War on Women.”
