The titles that make up the Borderlands series continue to be some of the best FPS games of all time, not just because of comedic stories, but also because of their chaotic class systems with seemingly endless amounts of guns and equipment. Choosing the right one for you is a good idea (I love the Tanky side of Amon), it’s just a preamble to shoot the core enemies of the latest entry and get an outrageous gun.

It’s here because it may sound like you express that desire, and when you use it, you never want it without it again (mainly because of how strong it is). There are also guns that you throw instead of reloading, and hand rena bullets that you can watch as they explode at a group of enemies, or suck up enemies with black holes. If you want to build your character in a specific way, various skill trees and glorious loot will continue to play for hours.
Borderlands 2 remains my personal favorite, but the fourth mainline entry certainly has a better story than the last few entries, to say the least. There are still many comedies, but the timekeeper’s tyranny over Kairos is played more seriously than the previous Borderlands story, and brings a refreshing change.
