Cardi B She gave birth to her third child with her estranged husband. offsetThe rapper, 31, announced the news on Instagram on Thursday, September 12, revealing that they welcomed a baby girl on September 7. The news comes just one month after Cardi filed for divorce from the Migos rapper, 32.
“The cutest baby 🌸🌸 9/7/24,” Cardi captioned the Instagram carousel post. She and Offset also have children together. culture and wave.
The “WAP” hit singer shared a photo gallery of her family meeting the baby, as well as another of her lying in a hospital bed shortly after giving birth.

The birth of Cardi’s third child comes one month after she announced her pregnancy at the same time as filing for divorce from Offset.
“With every ending comes a new beginning!,” the “I Like It” hitmaker wrote in an August 1 Instagram post.
Throughout the caption, Cardi directly addressed her then-unborn baby, thanking her child for bringing “more love” and “more life” to the rapper.
“I am so grateful to have shared this season with you. You have brought me more love, more life, and most of all, renewed my strength,” the mother of three wrote at the time. “You have reminded me that I can have it all! You have reminded me that I don’t have to choose between life, love, and passion! I love you so much and can’t wait for you to witness the ways you have helped me, the ways you have pushed me. It’s so much easier to lie down and take life’s twists and trials, but you, your brothers, and your sisters have shown me why it’s worth pushing through!”
Cardi and Offset have been together on and off for years. Though they married in 2017, the “Bodak Yellow” hitmaker and the “Open It Up” rapper split a year later. Though they reconciled in 2019, Cardi filed for divorce from Offset in 2020. They later rescinded the separation. However, the two split again in 2023.
Earlier this year, Cardi spoke about their rocky relationship during an interview. Rolling Stone.
“We think about it a lot because we love each other,” she told the magazine in May. “It’s not even about love. We’re best friends. It’s like, ‘Okay, well, there was a time when I didn’t have a best friend, and there was a time when I didn’t have a support system.’ It’s not even a question of, ‘How do you break up with your partner?’ or ‘How do you stop talking to your best friend?'”
