The NFL team certainly found a way to confuse the quarterback.
And that quarterback was a Colorado quarterback. He waited a little longer and waited Thursday night, but never heard him in the first round of the NFL Draft.
The Hall of Fame son and the player was once considered a potential No. 1 pick. I found myself in a place like myself, and in all the other NFL quarterbacks who are suffering for that eternal and eternal.
With a football-themed street name (city equipped with Lombardy Venue, Bart Star Drive and Brett Fabre Pass), Sanders discovered an unfortunate dead end.
He expressed wise expectations when denying an invitation to take part in the first draft in Green Bay (though there was one in Milwaukee in 1939).
“People say Green Bay has a population of 107,000 people too little,” said the Sea of Fans before the huge stage facing Lambeau Field. “But we’re over 125,000 and we’re still counting.”
By the end of the night, the league estimated that the crowd had swelled to 205,000.
The quarterback was first filmed overall, but it was Miami’s Come Ward, a selection predicted by the Tennessee Titans for weeks. The other was 25th, with the New York Giants returning to the first round to grab Mississippi.
Meanwhile, the Chargers were hit hard, bailed out from their 26th pick in exchange for the Falcons’ second rounder in trade with Atlanta – the Rams had no choice in that round – and the first round of 2026.
Two former high-school players: Michigan State defensive tackle (No. 5 Cleveland) and Arizona receiver (Carolina at 8).
The Big Men had a lot of focus, starting with Pennsylvania’s No. 3 pick Abdul Carter, followed by nine defensive linemen, with eight offensive linemen being chosen.
picked up the new, most coveted run at Ashton Jeanty.
The coach returned with X in his old Seattle and wrote, “We’ve been fired!! raaaiiidddeerrrss!!!”
The Packers are pleased with fans from their hometown by using their first round pick at receivers for the first time since 2002, opting for the Texas Wideout Matthew Golden, which covered 40 yards with a 4.29-second focus on the scouting combine. As Golden took the stage, cheers and fireworks exploded throughout the city.
Sanders will continue to wait in the second and third rounds on Friday and the fourth to seventh rounds on Saturday. Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe, who attended the draft, could be taken before him.
The Cleveland Browns have their 33rd pick and are still looking for a quarterback. Another possible place for the quarterback to go is number 40 when the New Orleans saint is on the watch. The franchise easily won NFL records for 54 years in a row without a quarterback in the first round.
Regardless of what happened with Sanders, it was a big night for Colorado football as Jacksonville swapped three spots for No. 2 and chose the winner of the dual-threatening Heisman Trophy, receiver and cornerback.
Duuuval – Jaguar fans chants referring to Duval County – is now 2 Balbecause Hunter wants to play both positions. The Cleveland Browns traded from that second spot despite describing Hunter as the answer to football.
“We have targets that change the trajectory of our soccer team and players we can acquire,” said freshman Jaguars GM on the team’s YouTube show. “It’s very few. We rarely target and prioritize players who can change the sport itself, and Travis is the person we think we could do that.”
Hunter may change the game. For now, Sanders is just looking for a change of address.
