The big question in California’s politics is, “Will it be carried out for the governor?” But that’s the wrong question. More importantly, “Should she do?”
And it is not a question that can be answered strictly on the prospect of victory.
At the very least, to succeed in being appointed Gov. Gavin Newsom – ultimately, next year we were able to find ourselves in a tough election campaign.
Rather, the answer should be determined based on the strengths, goals and ideas she brings to the table. Her concrete plan is to fight even in political allies to achieve her purpose and her own desire to lead the state’s comeback.
She should not view her work as a comforting award after losing the presidential election to Donald Trump. Voters smell it, and anyway, Harris is miserably bored at the Capitol, dealing with budget details and relatively inexperienced legislative leaders.
So far, Harris, 60, has not given any of the above standards California needs for the next governor since returning from Washington.
But she was not previously notable in ways that were notable as a US Senator or, particularly as a state attorney general. As Attorney General, Harris refused to take a critical voting position, including those dealing with the role of California’s so-called top police officer.
Harris has a record of being overly cautious about taking positions that could alienate the interests she thinks are important to her political career.
of course,. So she deserves to issue a 10-point plan to patch the state.
But look, you don’t have to be a governor candidate to express your concern about your state. Any conscious residents should be wary.
“Home prices have skyrocketed as supply has ceased over the past 30 years,” California’s Institute for Nonpartisan Public Policy said in a report last week.
The median home price in California in March was $884,000. It is extremely difficult, if not impossible, for many middle-class families. The housing shortage is primarily due to an intertwined deficit that delays the issuance of building permits and delays abuse of California’s environmental laws.
There is a strong move in Congress to make regulations easier, but it is very controversial. Is Harris thinking about this?
Homeowners’ premiums are rising rapidly in the aftermath of wildfires. And in areas where many fires are prone to occur, traditional policies are not possible. The next governor needs to fix this.
According to the US Census Bureau, California’s poverty rate is the highest in the country when cost of living is taken into consideration.
We spend billions of dollars, and 187,000 Californians are homeless, regardless of their finger points that each other by newspapers and local officials, an increase of 35% in 2017. It is the highest in the country – part of being part of having the largest population.
Gasoline prices are around $1.60 more in California than the US average. They also plan to close two oil refineries, hiking even higher prices for pumps at all times.
The fact that we are in high tax conditions and newspapers are being denied. We are leaning too strongly towards wealthy people for tax revenue, which creates roller coaster budget deficits and surplus depending on the stock market. That’s ridiculous. State taxes need to be modernized. But no politician has the courage to try it.
Then there is California’s historical problem that there is not enough water for thirst.
Is there anything Harris want to say about this? She’s never been.
Of course, seven major announced Democratic candidates have effectively silenced themselves on issues that put the party’s interest groups at risk.
One exception is former Los Angeles mayor and state legislative speaker Antonio Villarigoza. He was bolder than most of his rivals.
Harris said he will decide whether to run for governor in 2026 by the end of the summer. Maybe she’ll seek presidency again in 2028, or retire from politics and create bundles in the private sector.
– It includes last week that he allegedly helped former President Biden cover up cognitive decline in his oval office. Villaraigosa was included in the attack.
Harris is much more vulnerable about this issue than Becerra.
But it’s a cheap shot. How many people publicly accuse their boss of being mentally incompetent? And Harris would have been immediately blown up as self-serving by pushing the president aside and pushing her aside so she could grab the Democratic nomination.
However, Harris was able to help herself and the California voters, but sometimes by expressing her fears about her hometown.
The little thing I heard from her this year is the attack on Trump. She has also lent her name to the Democratic National Committee’s anti-Trump fundraising appeal.
But what California Democrats need in the end is another politician, especially the potential governor, who tells them that Trump is an evil and ignorant con man. They know that perfectly. They need someone who can tell them how they can fix their condition.
If she runs, Harris will become her first favorite for her wide-ranging name recognition, successful past elections in California, and fundraising. Some current candidates will likely drop out.
However, there appears to be no official cry for her to run.
Harris needs to show people why she should even consider asking for work. Because so far, she has sounded like the President’s Retread of 2028.
What else should I read?
