A former Hollywood famous co-founded a company that produced several game-changing films. Harvey Weinstein As one of the greatest monsters in the town of Tinsel, it steals history as a symbol of systemic misogyny and sexism in the entertainment industry. Harvey, along with his brother Bob Weinstein, is co-founder Miramax. After leaving Miramax, Harvey and Bob founded the Weinstein Company. Then the #MeToo movement took place.

October 2017, New York Times and New Yorker More than dozens of women reported that they accused Harvey of sexually harassing or assaulting him. Within a month, after 80 women came out to blame Harvey, he was fired from his production company, suspended from the British Film and Television Academy of Arts and Ejected from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, and his wife, Georgina Chapman, announced he was leaving.

He was sentenced to 23 years in February 2020 in New York Court after two of the five felony charges. On July 20, 2021, he was handed over to Los Angeles and faced further charges at subsequent trials. His New York conviction was upheld at the time of appeal in June 2022. On April 25, 2024, the New York Court of Appeals overturned two convictions. A year later, Weinstein was found guilty of one count of engagement in criminality and acquitted on the second count of a sex crime retrial.
