He recorded 18 points and 16 rebounds on Sunday, extending No. 4’s winning streak against No. 19 Ohio State to six games.

UCLA (12-1, 2-0 Big Ten) added 16 points and scored 15 points to beat the Buckeyes for the fourth straight time since December 2023.

Gialloni Cambridge led all scorers with 28 points, and Elsa Lenmila added 13 points and seven rebounds for Ohio State (11-2, 1-1), whose winning streak ended at nine in its conference home opener.

The Bruins built a 76-60 lead midway through the fourth quarter before Ohio State closed the gap with strong defense and key late baskets from Cambridge, Tyanna Todd and Chance Gray. The Buckeyes got as close as six points with about two minutes remaining, but fell just short.

UCLA outscored Ohio State 47-33, including a 19-10 lead on offense and a 35-10 advantage in second-chance points. Betts kept the Bruins in the paint, and UCLA outscored the Buckeyes 50-32 inside.

Ohio State struggled from 3-point range in the first half, missing its first 11 attempts, but Remila scored with 3:43 left in the second quarter. The Buckeyes found their rhythm in the third quarter, making six 3-pointers and 7 of 30 (23%) from beyond the arc.

Next up is UCLA: Wednesday at Penn State.
