(Hill) – Billionaire tech entrepreneur Elon Musk joined President Donald Trump on his first day in Saudi Arabia and appeared alongside other top business leaders for lunch with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
Musk was in the royal court for a coffee ceremony, then lunch continued when Trump arrived. Tesla’s CEO and top presidential advisor was seen talking to the Crown Prince and other business leaders.
Trump introduced the mask to Bin Salman and patted him on his back while the three men chatted for a few minutes.

It is unclear whether Musk will join Trump at other stops on his Middle East trip when the president travels to Qatar and the United Arab Emirates.
Musk is a top advisor to the Office of Government Efficiency (DOGE) and has always been on Trump’s side since Election Day, joining the Air Force 1 and Cabinet meetings.
His special government position is scheduled to end on May 30th, and he is facing pressure from Tesla board members to return to the helm of his company in Washington Reading Doge in a few months.
He outlined in a recent interview with Hill and other journalists that his time rhythm with the White House decreases by 1-2 days a week.
