It was a period of time embedded in me from my youth, exploring British castles with my family and spending my nights with a thorough grasp on fantasy novels. Apply a survival twist on a classic medieval genre and famous players compete against each other on a 100 famous player server. Starting with a humble beginning, but ultimately you can build a castle and surround the engines to attack other castles. There are non-castle elements, but I think it’s particularly exciting.
Despite Trebuchet and the fortress, this survival game is focused and hand-to-hand combat. Whether you’re fighting 1-on-1 with your opponents early in the game, working with other players to tackle a scary bear during the match, or later on a Full-On war, a reliable sword, x, or pole arm will be your weapon of choice.
But crafting also plays an important role. You need to build all your camp and all your gear from scratch, so make sure you have basics before trying to do castle walls or scale like that.

Famous successfully kickstarted in May 2024 and has since held numerous community playtests. There is a lot of talk around the game. It is a medieval game with survival elements. Of course, there’s a lot to talk about. KCD2 is my current king, but I’m beginning to wonder if this multiplayer offering can abdicate it…
