There is a lot of parity at the top of the city section. As Birmingham, Carson, San Pedro and the ban continue to lose to Southern Section teams, many questions remain as league play begins.

Former St. John Bosco quarterback Caleb Sanchez is back in his second season playing for the Ivy League in Columbia. The season began last week and there are 39 former Southern Section players on the roster.

Former Bishop Montgomery Football Coach Ed Hodzkis He said he was approached to change the philosophy of the football program before the season.
According to Hodgkiss, last December he met with former president of Bishop Montgomery. Patrick Lee Two other people previously worked at St. John Bosco, the football nation.
“They came up to me and said they could do the same with Bishop Montgomery,” Hodgkis said. He added that three men had planned to hire new coaching staff, build a new stadium and bring top players to Torrance High School.
