Hello, welcome to another edition of Prep Rally. My name is Eric Zondheimer. The state basketball playoffs begin this week with many rematches expected.
State playoffs
In high school basketball, it’s either a victory or a time to get home. There is no more pool play. Don’t continue playing after a bad night. The state playoffs are underway this week with Southern California regional action. This is because the competition heated up as they tried to reach Sacramento for the state championship at the Golden 1 Center on March 14th and 15th.
Eastvale Roosevelt and Ontario Christian received the first species for the Open Division boys and girls regional playoffs. Neither is a rock to go to Sacramento. Each of them drew a goodbye for the first round. Potential obstacles are first. For girls, Ontario Christians face the possibility of a rematch against Sierra Canyon and Etiwanda. For the boy, Roosevelt may have to go past two-time defensive national champion Harvard West Lake.
Teams that did not win the Open Division during the Section Tournament fell to Division I in the State Tournament. Since 2016, the Southern Section Boys team has won all state Division I boys basketball titles that began with the Open Division, then dropped to the state Division I. The game starts on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Tracking
Jack Stadrum Temecula Valley retracted its most impressive performance of its early track season, running 45.69 in the 400m of Vista Murrieta, the second-best performance in history by inland empire athletes. The first one is the Olympian Michael Norman When he was running to Vista Murrieta.
What’s even more shocking is that Stadlam is a former basketball player and was the first time he went out on the track alone last season. He ran in only one 400 races. He was a 100 runner.
Now the question is how fast he can run on the 400.

Former Westlake Pitcher Dylan Flyingthe 6-foot freshman in Texas is off to a good start in his college career.
He threw 4 2/3 innings of scoreless ball against Dartmouth, giving up one hit while showing off a 94 mph fastball and a nasty slider. The fact that he is left-handed and throws it hard makes him a pitcher to see him.
