Scott Anthony Redford
Scott was born on September 1, 1959. He was Robert and Laura’s first child. Unfortunately, he passed away just two months after being born with sudden infant death syndrome. He was buried in Provo, Utah, where his late father lived in his last year.
Shauna Jean Redford
Shawna was Robert and Laura’s second child. Born on November 15th, 1960, Shauna is currently a painter and married to a named journalist. Eric Schlosser.
David James Redford
David James followed his father’s footsteps by becoming a filmmaker and environmentalist. He focused on documentaries and attended Robert’s alma mater, the University of Colorado Boulder University, where he studied creative writing and filmmaking. He later earned a Masters degree in Literature from Northwestern University.
Before dying from bile duct cancer in 2020, David James won script credits for the film. Cowboy up and Skinwalker. He made his directorial debut spin. He also had two liver transplants in his life to manage primary sclerotic cholangitis. It is a disease that affects the gallbladder and liver.
Amy Hart Redford
Like her dad, Amy became an actor and filmmaker. She attended San Francisco State University and studied drama/theater art before focusing on the theatres to go to Robert’s alma mater, the University of Colorado Boulder University, and Lambda, England.
