Stefan Norsen, Paul Cotter and Cody Glass each scored for the New Jersey Devils, who won and ended a five-game losing streak at home.

New Jersey started the season 9-0-1 at home, but lost five straight at Prudential Center.

The Devils’ third line consisted of Kotter, Juho Lamicco and Norsen, who combined for five points (two goals, three assists). It was Noesen’s first goal in 22 games.

Troy Terry scored his 10th goal of the season and third of the game on a breakaway in the first period on an assist from Leo Carlson for a 1-0 lead.

Cotter scored for the third straight game, with assists from Ramicco and Noesen, giving New Jersey a 2-1 lead at the 5:52 mark of the second period.

Late in the second period, Glass extended the Devils’ lead to 3-1 with plays from Ondrej Palat and Colton White. Connor Brown scored his seventh goal of the season with an empty net late in the game.

New Jersey’s Jake Allen stopped 30 shots for his first win since Nov. 28. Allen was on a three-game losing streak.

Lukas Dostal made 18 saves for the Ducks, but couldn’t convert on four power-play chances.

The Devils are without leading scorer Timo Meier, who missed his second straight game due to family health reasons. “We’re going to give him (Meyer) all the time he needs,” New Jersey coach Sheldon Keefe said before the game.

Anaheim was playing its third game in five days as part of a five-game road trip.
