The End is Near Remnant 2 But it’s the best way to end it. The game is finished. The final DLC, The Dark Horizon, is due to be released soon, and then there’s some cleanup to do, but this marks the end of new content for Remnant 2. There’s a ton of content in this DLC, but the new archetype, the Warden, is perhaps the most fascinating. Developer Gunfire Games has shared some details about how the Warden works, and it seems ready to take on anything.
The main way the Warden will increase his presence as he explores Remnant 2 is through the use of his drone. Even when playing solo, the Warden will likely add a lot to the fight, but it’s important to remember that this is a cooperative game, so drones are a real game-changer when adventuring with a group. There are a few different modes you can deploy the drone in, each of which fulfills a different role:
In combat mode, the drone just inflicts pain, working constantly to defend and attack everything near the selected ally. In shield mode, the drone recharges the ally’s shields, reducing incoming damage and helping them survive longer. Finally, in heal mode, it will continuously heal you or your ally’s health. Additionally, the heal feature enhances the relic’s usage speed, helping your ally consume more consumables in the heat of battle.
Additionally, the Warden’s Dynamic Prime perk regenerates shields and also increases the base energy reserves of both drones and turrets, and its archetype trait, Barrier, buffs shields applied by the Warden, meaning that even when buffing a friend, you’ll still get some benefit as well.
