September Minecraft live Showcase has just been wrapped up and we’ve seen a lot of everything that comes in the copper era, along with a big teaser of Mayhem Gamedrop’s mount, which will arrive later this year. Livestream is the ideal place to catch all the most important news in one of the best sandbox games ever, and this latest installment is no exception. The release of the new Nautilus Mob, the perfect mount for exploring the water, and the spear weapon that opens a fresh way to fight, has a lot to see.
As a huge terraria fan, I have been waiting for copper to get legitimate expressions in Minecraft. The latest Minecraft Live comes exactly when you can get the copper age. Handy materials are set to transform early progression of the game, and many of its features have been testing for a while, such as the adorable copper golems that allow you to sort items between copper chests.
Now you know when the release date for Minecraft 1.21.9 is. Copper Age will be released on Tuesday, September 30th. Once you’re here you can use new materials with all the standard tools you’ll expect, along with armor, weapons, torches, lanterns, chains, and more. The green copper torch and copper lantern are my personal favorites.
These copper creations landed between iron and gold on a scale of protection, damage and durability, filling the gap that had long appeared to be a jump. This update also introduces Shelf, a new furniture that works like a 3-space item frame but serves as storage.
Adding to this, this stream was the first to see what’s coming in the mountains of Mayhem, which is scheduled to arrive in the second half of 2025. This can be used to jab or charge to unleash a powerful blow that can clean the enemy when timing correctly. You can also use it when riding your own mount or Minecart. As a bonus, the faster the spear damage, the more it moves.
Nautilus is a new underwater mount that can be tamed by feeding it. Once you win it on your side, you can use it to explore the sea in style and equip different armor types if you find it. The best part? While riding the Nautilus, a special effect stops air bubbles from being consumed. This means you can stay in the water as much as you like and not retreat.
However, you need to be careful deeper. There’s also the zombie nautilus variant, a serious threat, and the favourite mount. The Undead also gets special treats on dry lands – Zombie horses, available exclusively in Creative Mode for over 10 years, are now appearing in survival. The good news is that the riders are not friendly, but the horses themselves are actually passive towards you.
