Wait, what happened to save the kids? California lawmakers dodge the problem

Hello, Happy Monday.

The pig is flying and Satan is on the puff jacket. I know these things because the impossible is happening – I am writing about why and what is right.

And why should representatives of California’s Republican Congress be embarrassed and embarrassed?

These women may be known in Congress as the beacon on the far right, perhaps the right right. Originally from Georgia, South Carolina and Colorado, respectively, they dabbled in with suspicious behavior, including sex trafficking and powerful pedophiles.

But I say this for the trio – they remained true to their beliefs, even under direct pressure from the White House. So (limited) screams to Green, Mace and Bobert.

What am I talking about? Of course, Jeffrey Edward Epstein (I think he committed enough crimes to win a middle name, serial killer style).

Boebert, Mace and Greene are three of the four Republicans in the U.S. House of Representatives, and are doing a kind of work to circumvent leadership in order to release a complete Epstein file that appears to contain a chunk of information about a man who bought and sold sex with a teenage girl).

“These are some of the richest and most powerful people in the world who can appeal to poverty and homelessness,” Green said at a recent press conference with some of the victims. “Yeah, it’s scary to name a name, but I’m not afraid to make a name, so if they want to give me a list, I’ll walk that leader on the floor of the house, and I say all the damn names that abused these women. I can do that for them.”

And to my immense shock that we have something in common with Green, I say – that’s how it was done, women. you go.

Republican House members of California do not support the release of the Epstein Files. All California Democrat representatives signed it. So let’s talk about it.

I’m tired of Epstein. Why are you writing this?

Like most of you, I’m tired of hearing endless political chatter about Epstein.

For those in the uniforms blessed among you, Epstein was a very rich man. No one knows where that money came from, but he obviously spent a lot of it and bought influence with powerful men and minor girls in sexual traffic.

(Many conspiracy theories about whether it actually committed suicide) but in 2021 his paramar partner, Gislaine Noel Maxwell, was convicted of child sex trafficking and other crimes.

Epstein and Maxwell have connections with Donald Trump, but to be honest, I’ll include that I don’t care about anything other than saying “ick.” It made everything an endless political blouhaha.

However, many of Epstein and Maxwell’s many casualties are asking the Department of Justice to release their information. They want accountability if justice remains elusive, like survivors of sexual assault everywhere. They want a name. They want to stop their fear, stop being caught up in their pain and their past, and let the world decide whether there is no court just by how much truth they are telling.

These are brave women who have been crueled as children for the joy of men with money. They have the right to let their stories know if it is their choice.

This is not politics. This is good sense.

California problems

Like Green, I want to name some names. They’re here – California GOP representatives in the house:

Only required to release Epstein files 1 Sign the discharge petition. just 1 Of these excellent representatives of Golden State, they can do the right thing and represent the bipartisan values that both parties have – sex trafficking is bad – and show what real leadership looks like.

Anyone? Anyone?

“If Epstein survivors want to release this information, it should be made public. These women have the courage to speak up and are angry that Congress will block the release of the information.

She is a former state Department of Justice prosecutor specializing in human trafficking and has worked on controversial, bipartisan legislation in Congress with Republican Sen. Shannon Grove, of Bakersfield. The law won her own party rage, but this was an important issue, and she did what she believed in simple things.

“Protecting children and standing up for survivors of trafficking is not a partisan issue. In California, we showed that there’s no need to do that,” Krell said.

In fact, the House of Representatives’ discharge petition was a bipartisan effort, and was introduced by Kentucky Republican Rep. Thomas Massey and Democrats Locanna in California.

In particular, I would like to call Killie for his hypocrisy. Recently, he introduced a bipartisan sex trafficking bill in Congress. That’s a wise idea. This creates a database in the Department of Justice, which tracks cases across the country. He did it with the person in charge. Harriet Haageman (R-WYO) and Hank Johnson (D-GA). Officers Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn.) and Amy Klobuchar (D-Minn.) carry the bill in the Senate.

“We have to do everything we can to prevent human trafficking and we are at our disposal to get closer to stopping this terrible crime.”

Hmm.

It looks like Kiley is having a problem. He seems to be saying the right thing. And for the man about to be turned into a Jerrymander from his own district – it appears his own party doesn’t care – he doesn’t often lose by doing the right thing and signing a discharge petition. My email to his office on the topic remains unanswered.

Speaking at the press conference, Epstein and Maxwell survivor Liz Stein said life was never the same since the abuse began. Since then, “I felt like someone was stopping the light in my soul.”

There. teeth. no. excuse.

“This is not a partisan issue, it’s an American issue,” a New Mexico official who chairs the Democratic Women’s Caucus, said in a press release. “If these heartbreaking stories aren’t enough for my Republican colleagues, I sign on your daughter and every woman in your life, all women you want to protect from pedophiles. It’s not just Epstein, but also trafficked, abused, sexually assaulted, sexually assaulted, and ignoring their pain, but also ignoring their pain, girls are believed, supported, and abused, abused, and abused, and ignoring their pain, girls are believed, supported, and abused, and abusers are held accountable.”

I can’t say it directly anymore. To hide behind politics about this is the act of co-sick people.

If you don’t stand up to rape a child, what are you standing for?
