September 16th, 2024, Sean “Diddy” comb He was arrested by federal agents in New York and his charges were released soon. Combs was charged with three felony counts, according to NBC News. Transportation engaged in assault, sex trafficking, and prostitution. The indictment of the large ju trial was sealed on September 17th.
The news came amid legal issues for rappers and music producers, including a 2023 lawsuit filed by his ex-girlfriend. Cathy Venturaclaiming that he sexually assaulted her. He denied the allegations and resolved the case, but Combs is under investigation by Homeland Security.

Why was Didi arrested?
Diddy was arrested on September 16th, and charges against him were revealed when he was taken into custody on Tuesday, September 17th. According to his indictment, he and his accomplices participated in “sex trafficking, forced labor, arson, bribery and obstruction of justice.”
The music mogul is currently in custody at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn.
His lawyer, Mark Agnificoadded to reporters at the time of his arrest, “He basically came to New York to begin a case with involvement in the court system and that starts today and he is about to plead not guilty.” Agnifilo added, “He is going to fight this with all his energy and his strength, and with the complete confidence of his lawyer.”

Homeland Security did not publicly explain the reasons behind the attack on Didi’s home. However, the agency has issued statements to several outlets regarding the incident.
“Homeland Security Investigation (HSI) New York has enforced law enforcement measures as part of an ongoing investigation, with the support of HSI Los Angeles, HSI Miami and local law enforcement partners,” Homeland Security explained in a statement. “We will provide more information when it becomes available.”
According to NBC, sources told the outlet “Three women and men were interviewed by federal officials in Manhattan in connection with allegations of sex trafficking, sexual assault, and illegal drug and firearm solicitation and distribution.” The outlet also reported that Homeland Security and federal agents had executed search warrants at Diddy’s LA and Miami facilities. Following the attack, it was reported that law enforcement agencies had found firearms at both the rapper’s homes.
What did Diddy do?
The 2024 homeland security investigation is ongoing, but Combs previously made headlines for multiple allegations of sexual assault in late 2023.
According to court documents from Ventura’s case, she accused the comb of “being her,” “male prostitute,” and “sexually enforcing her,” but Didi allegedly recorded a sexual “meeting.” Ventura and Combs started dating when they were 19, and he was in his 30s. The exes had an on and off relationship for several years.
In response to his claim, Combs defended himself in an Instagram statement. This appears to have been removed now.
“All is enough,” he wrote. “For the past few weeks I’ve been sitting quietly and seeing people trying to assassinate my character and destroy my reputation and heritage. The claims of illness have been made against me by individuals looking for a quick pay day. I’ll definitely be clear.

Shortly afterwards, Ventura and Combs settled the month. However, in December 2023, another woman came forward after being charged with sexual assault on a comb. She claimed he raped her in 2003 when she was 17 years old.
By early 2024, Diddy had faced five charges of sexual assault.
The fees are now piling up. Diddy could be facing more than 100 new lawsuits just two weeks after being arrested by federal agents in New York. Recently on October 14, the fighting music mogul has been hit with six bomb cases filed in the Southern District of New York, accusing him of rape, drugs, sodomy and threatening to kill suspicious victims. The cases detailed in the complaint range from 1995 to 2021.
Among the accusers are a man who was 16 years old suspected in the incident, and a woman who was a 19-year-old college student when Combs allegedly raped him in a Manhattan hotel room in 2004. Two of the lawsuits include cases allegedly occurring on Combs’ gorgeous Labor Day “white property.”
